Chubbles II & a Trillium/Cloudwater colab anyone?🍻

In News

The Cloudwater fun shows no sign of abating this week with us managing to get hold of a couple of their 6thBirthday releases, a Trillium colab and the next Chubbles beer. But of course, it’s not just the birthday boys (and girls) from Manchester dropping new stuff to us this week, we’ve others too!

But let’s start with the new stuff from Cloudwater. Chubbles II: Discovering Pilsengris is another Veil Brewing colab, this version is an 8% DIPA. Speaking of DIPA colabs we also have Uppercase, a 9% DDH DIPA team up with Trillium. We’ve managed to get a couple of their 6th birthday beers, Can You See My Screen is an NZ Hopfenweisse and  *Applies Virtual Background* is a Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe 8% DIPA.

The DIPA’s don’t stop there, Rosa, the Galaxy & Mosaic favourite from Polly’s Brew Co is back along with Slacks, a murky 6.0% juicebomb of an IPA.
Burnt Mill are for us, one of the most consistent brewers in the UK right now. Green Path is a West Coast leaning IPA with fantastic drinkability. Multiverse : Galaxy / Strata / Simcoe IPA is more East Coast inspired with aromas of overripe passion fruit and pineapple.

We’ve also got 3 beers from their Norfolk neighbours Duration. Dripping Pitch West Coast IPA, Strong Opinions Held Lightly IPA and Happiness Runs which uses a new Australian hop called “Eclipse” bringing a bright orange pith and pine aroma, layered onto a complex biscuity malt bill. A delicate bitter snap finishes the beer, making it a very sessionable beer in taste and strength at 3.5%

The White Hag have added to their single hop single malt “Union” series, this time we’ve got Azacca Smash IPA and Nelson Smash IPA. Both at 5.5%, great for smashing!

And speaking of smashing, if you really want to avoid any after effects, you need to try Northern Monk Holy Faith, the 0.5% version of their flagship Pale. No alcohol. No flavour sacrifice. Or if that’s taking things a bit too low for you, then go for Striding Edge, a 2.9% Light IPA. Both great options if you’re watching your intake.

Finally this week we’ve had a bit of a top up of our Continental beers, so check out what we have in the way of German & Belgian beers!
