Siren Project Barista: Mucha Mora Mocha - 9.0%

We use Anonymous coffee in all the coffee we serve at our bars, so it was only natural that this local roaster was allocated the biggest and boldest beer of the four. Mucha Mora Mocha is a follow-up to Mucha Mocha from our 2021 Project Barista celebration, and we’ve used techniques learned from our CCC project to bring a hefty 6-hour boil and thick mouthfeel to this imperial stout. During cupping (the selection process for finding the perfect roast for this beer), we settled on Columbia Viani roast which would go on to be used at every possible part of the brewing process. This beer is rich with chocolate and vanilla character, and one of the best examples of why coffee and beer just works.
