We often get told by fans of our beers that the key element that sets us aside to breweries we’re lucky enough to consider our contemporaries is that we retain a good element of bitterness and bite to our beers – not tipping into that pool of overly cloying and tropical; always keeping everything reeled in and balanced. We’ve embraced this on Smooth Groove – a hearty whirlpool addition of Amarillo brings the old school resin and bitterness, before a nuanced, delicate addition of Polly’s favourites Bru-1, Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado bring the new school tropical explosion of flavour that we’re so well renowned for. Expect fresh cut pineapple, tangerines, blueberries and (no, really) jelly tots abound in this classic Polly’s IPA
