2021, Tin Hats and Beer at the ready!

In News

Our first newsletter of the new year is coming to you direct from the Beer Guerrilla bunker. We've spent the first week of 2021 getting our tin hat sorted, watching the season finale of 'America' and starting to re-stock with great beer.... can't help think we're going to need it in the months to come if the start of this year is anything to go by! Does anybody know what odds you can get for there to be an Alien invasion in 2021??

On to the beer... We start the NEW year with a NEW Brewery to us, Newbarns from Edinburgh (see what we did there) When four guys who had spent the last few years working down in London at The Kernel and Beavertown decided to return back to Scotland to start their own brewery the results were always destined to be fantastic. Newbarns moved into their new brewhouse in Leith last year and have hit the ground running producing some mighty fine beers not least Plain Dark Beer, an 11% Imperial Stout which does exactly what it says on the tin. No extra additions or flavourings, just a proper rich decadence. We've three beers from them to start with and we're sure they won't be the last.

Nottingham's Neon Raptor start off the year with Glad It's All Over DDH NEIPA and Kaleider Pale Ale, we expect more great things from them this year.
Polly's Brew Co have turned out another HUGE Triple IPA in DDH Every Piece Matters, 10% of Citra & Mosaic hop juice. We also have Does It Matter How Far IPA, at 7.2% it sure is January blues beating refreshment!
Local boys Boot Town have dropped in some The Goz, packed with cacao nibs and lightly roasted coconut, a 6.5% decadent mongrel of a chocolate stout and coconut porter.

We had a last minute DEYA delivery before Xmas that we didn't manage to get online. Including three of the Saturated In DIPA series, Citra, Galaxy & Motueka and two of the Something Good IPA range. They're up now, but be quick if you want some as there aren't many left!

We've gone big on Left Handed Giant this week with no less than SEVEN new beers. Three IPA's, Three Pales and big fruited sour. Check them all out here

Later this week we will also have a top up from Manchester by way of Cursor, a Raspberry Sour from Sqwark and five beers from Cloudwater. Fresh batches of DDH Pale, West Coast Pale and Helles, plus DDH A Path of Smiles IPA (single hop Simcoe) and You Deserve A Minute To Your Good Selves West Coast IPA.
